I placed my first trade order of chocolate today and I am absolutely terrified of how easy it is to do. My account number and registration came in a few days ago and so I thought I should really give it a test run before I order anything really big so I made a list of the products that I thought sounded tasty and gave them a ring to try it out.

Somehow it managed to go from “Hell, H&B foods ordering, how can I help?” to “Ok great, your order will be delivered tomorrow,” in just under 3 minutes and somehow  I’d managed to spend about £150 on chocolate and cocoa butter and cocoa paste and cocoa nibs and cocoa powder and cocoa… well you get the idea. They even have all my details and stuff so the money just comes straight out of my account without me saying anything and actually now that I think about it, they didn’t tell me how much I’d spent so I guess I could have bought way way more without realising it. I could have ordered a hundred kilos of cocoa butter by mistake and now it’s going to turn up tomorrow morning in a huge crate outside my door with a bill larger than my growing sense of greed.

But, starting from tomorrow I’ll at least have a job so that I can pay for it eventually. Going for an interview in the morning at the shoe shop and if they say no I’ll go and sign the contract at Paul. Then I’m going to take a well deserved break and make ice cream.
